The Levity Labs Hypothesis is this:
Longevity is directly linked to your general sense of levity.
That is, when you feel better, you live better. And when you live better, you live longer.
Defining Levity
It's the Lightness Of Being that comes from mental, emotional, and physical satisfaction.
An Epicurean sense of tranquility. Free from negative stress. Comfortable. Peaceful. Relaxed. Fulfilled. All the happy hormones swirling around your system.
In our heart of hearts, a general 'lightness of being' makes life fulfilling.
And that feeling of levity is the best 'treatment' for longevity.
Why?
Because...
Not only does negative stress cause rapid aging...
...but also because if we enjoy life more, we will want to take better care of ourselves for the long-term.
In other words: happiness creates emotional interest in our health.
And that snowball effect will become an avalanche of social interest in living better for living longer.

Riddle me this...
What is the one thing that go-getters, Entrepreneurs, health enthusiasts, and even civil activists all have in common but never have enough of?
They all have a PLAN — but never one that's good enough to make progress easy.
Heavy weight boxing champ Mike Tyson put it well:
And it's sooo true:
Most New Year Resolutions are abandoned by mid-Jan.
Vision Boards and manifestation gimmicks fail to deliver satisfying results.
80% of startups fail within 5 years — usually much sooner.
And Social Activists rant-and-rave on Social Media... while Politicians promise they have a better plan than the last person... yet society keeps getting worse.
So how can you and I possibly expect to plan and create sustainable levity throughout our life, including our own high-tech comprehensive levity laboratory right in our home?
Simple really...
First, we start. Then, we improve.
Without any plan at all, you'll achieve less than you could.
For your career... your health... your wealth... your security... your relationships...
Just as the expression goes, "if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail".
But how do we avoid 'getting punched' by life, by events, by circumstance... so that our planning really does moves us forward with confidence to sustain a positive lightness of being on a general daily basis?
I call it Atomic Planning, but we could also call it:
Micro-Planning
It's what airplanes do as they fly thousands of miles, fight against the elements, then land exactly where they are meant to.
You see, an airplane is almost always flying off course, but it continuously adjusts its trajectory in order to fly towards its final destination...
...we can (and should) do the same thing.
Make small plans.
Take some steps.
Review progress.
Learn as we go.
Adjust accordingly.
That's why big long expensive programs on 'planning your life' or 'starting a business' are not so helpful.
Or why week long health retreats feel good in the moment but you soon return to dirty old habits.
Managing life can not be done in a rush or with stubborn wishful thinking or rigid planning.
I know because I have tried.
I have spent close to 20-years obsessing about how we 'manage'.
Manage our lives.
Manage our emotions.
Manage our relationships.
Manage our colleagues.
Manage companies.
Manage communities.
No matter what it is that you want to manage, no matter what your ambitions are, how large or small, or how skilled you are, a micro-planning process is the one unique flexible way to actually get ahead with confidence.
It's all well and good thinking that we need to focus, or try harder, or get advice.
But if we don't successfully plan while making small adjustments throughout our learning curve, chances are that we'll fail. Or drag our feet. Or give up. Or get blocked or bypassed or ignored — and suffer the consequences in our health, wealth, relationships, career and even our personal security as the world keeps looking like a more dangerous place.
What limits your daily feelings of levity?
Certain mental attitudes that you carry. Certain stresses you have to endure. Certain areas of laziness and neglect for your own basic general health perhaps.
Back in the late 90's and early 2000's I published several programs on life direction, time management, and so on. It's not until now that I feel willing and able to share what I discovered since then.
