If you are concerned about toxic ingredients in personal care products — you’re in the right club. Dr Ellie does refer to the ingredients in the products she recommends in her system, and the only change that Team Levity Labs suggests from what Dr Ellie recommends is the toothpaste. You can find a healthier paste such as ‘David’s brand.
But the 3 types of mouthwash in Dr Ellie’s system, plus the Xylitol, seems to be a crucial combination without untold harm. The Listerin mouthwash uses Essential Oils for their active agents. Yes there are some other chemicals on the ingredients list and we are keen to receive feedback on how harmful those may be at the concentrations that exist in the products. On balance we go to great lengths to reduce harmful ingredients, but a small amount will not be a harm to health, especially given the amazing and important benefits of excellent dental hygiene.
